Who is MKH
MKH is the digital spirit of immersive storytelling born out of the frustration with the usual parameters imposed by traditional media. It acts as a safe space by gathering honest confessions from those looking to share and experience truths that aren’t welcome elsewhere. MKH is a keeper of stories and perspectives that make up today’s culture.
Why does MKH exist?
Asya: “I spent years studying journalism and wanting to be a part of the world of media to tell stories, and the deeper I got, the more I realised that even the most personal stories lacked soul and character. I was always told by my professors at university that my writing was too personal and opinionated, which confirms the current lack of transparency overall in writing today, so I wanted to create a platform where personality and identity is welcomed and not dulled down by rules, structures and regulations. I was disappointed and frustrated by the industry so I decided to create my own writing space where all experiences are welcomed, self expression is encouraged and writing is not limited by outdated standards.”
Immersive writing
Immersive writing takes you on a 360 degree journey, from egg to chicken and chicken to egg extending the role of the reader from observer to companion.
Every piece of writing has its own temperament, sometimes projecting the writer’s own personality, other times taking a form of its own.
Immersive writing is a one-to-one conversation between the reader and the story-teller. Its up close and personal, it’s candid, it’s real.
The aim of immersive writing is to boycott the overly guarded writing industry by pushing the writer to a point of such compelling honesty that it becomes a confession.
Shared imaginary and collective behaviour
Shared imaginary being a world where personal experiences are cherished and respected. Hence transforming behaviour as people connect through written confession and narratives are immortalized by their truth.
